I'm so excited we may get snow in Austin. Rarely does it snow here. We may get snow flurries tonight!!
I'm a native from S. California (San Diego) and it never snowed in my lifetime, except when we went up to the mountains in Julian to go snowboarding.

We have funny weather here in( my town) northern CA. Heavy Fog in early morning sunny and warm mid day but then turn very cold by 4 in the afternoon.

2 year ago we had a big, big size hail, I went out and gather as much as I can and put it in a plastic bag and save it in the freezer. I show to all of our friends it was very excited!

The last time hail arrived, we had to replace our roof! By the way, your dog is adorable.

No pictures were taken but the experience of anticipating snow is etched in our memories. The snow flurries blew hard for 30 minutes and laughter filled the air. It was a surprise blessing sent from heaven. God is so lovable..

I love The Carpenters too, specially their Christmas song. This goes back to the early 80's when I first built my personal FM Radio station; the only 90 minute tape I had was The Carpenters. So I kept broadcasting it and went driving around with my friends to check the coverage areas.
Christian Hymnals and classical music were among the broadcasted material.
