Please say a prayer for my parents (all is well), they will be celebrating their 50th anniversary on May first. Also for my sister’s daughter who will be making her confirmation tomorrow.

May God, who has given you fifty years together, of his infinite goodness and mercy continue to bless you and your union. May the Father who created you, the Son who redeems you, and the Holy Spirit who sanctifies you, preserve and keep you all your days. The Lord with his favour look upon you, and so fill you with all spiritual benediction and grace; that you may so please him in this life, that in the world to come you may have life everlasting. Heavenly Father, You sent your Spirit to transform the Apostles into heroes of evangelical strength on the day of Pentecost. Thank You for granting that same Spirit to insight's niece in the Sacrament of Confirmation. Pour down upon her the sevenfold gifts of the Spirit that she may more closely resemble Jesus and be an intrepid witness in the world to You and your Divine Son. Amen.
