First, this topic has so many human answers.
The only answer is from God. How He says we should pray.

When we pray sometimes we ask for the wrong things, thus they are heard
but, not answered in what we prayed for. The intentions are not met.
When we pray grudingly, we should not pray, stop! rekindle the fire of Love.
Ask the Holy Spirit to guide your heart and mind and He will instruct you how
to pray and what to pray for.

The first thing to accomplish is the peaceful state where God is heard in your heart.
Sometimes this takes alot of patience to get to this point. The point where the Light
of God descends and makes your whole surrounding inner and outer beautiful and the peace
is incredible. The Peace which surpasses all comprehension. The Love of God is found
in Peaceful settings, where good will is apparent and at work.

Today we battle Satan and his followers, they are demons and man.
There are no aliens nor strange beings that fly around in flying saucers nor any other
weird outlandish creations. This is all a ploy of the demon. He has flooded the world
with all kinds of strange things, doctrine of demons and devils.

God is Peace, God is Light, God is Love. These are the things, attributes that we should
strive to place ourselves in. The inner power, God is Power, there is no power greater
than God, hence we say Almighty. Meaning All Powerful One There is No Other greater
than You. When we think with minds of Faith, we transform from weenies to sons of God,
if anyone understands how I bring this about, where we feel the waves of doubt, faithlessness,
hopelessness, that drudgery feeling. Recite some scripture during prayer, especially the ones
like, I can do all things through Christ Who is my Strength, Greater is he that is in me than he that is in this world, God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind, My God shall supply all my needs according to His riched in glory through Jesus Christ our Lord, Not by might nor by power but by My Spirit says the Lord, choose you this day whom you shall serve, as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. Be gone satan, I serve the Lord and No Other. Bind the demon of whatever and hand him over to St. Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, All the Choirs of Saints and Angels. Call upon St. Peter, the Apostles they are always ready to assist.

If you don't see things happening immediately, chances are there is some great lesson to be learned, in order to obtain that favor. which amounts to in my case giving more of myself to Jesus. Every nook and cranny, every corner of my heart, my mind, my will, my affections,
my imagination, so forth, abandoning my entire self to Jesus, through the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Mother. the resulting summary All My Love to Jesus.

Praise Jesus and Mary
Peace in Christ
